Hey!
Here’s some background information on GIF’s otherwise
known as The Graphics Interchange Format (better known by its acronym) is a
bitmap image format that was introduced by CompuServe in 1987 and has since taken
over the internet.
GIFs where first seen on a website called AOL which is long forgotten about but not lost. AOL is still alive to this day but is not as popular as it once was.
Although there is a limited amount of colors you can put
into a single image, the GIFs turn out pretty rad when put in motion.
